Meet Yohana

Hi, I’m Yohana— Founder of Luna’s Pet Care & Sitting, Pet Protector, Mom, and Lifelong Dog Lover. I grew up surrounded by dogs who taught me how to read their needs without a word. That early connection followed me throughout my life—from volunteering with rescue organizations to raising my own beloved pets.

Meet Luna: The Heart Behind the Mission

I adopted Luna while preparing for the arrival of my son, Eli. Never realizing she would become my lifeline. Through the weight of pregnancy and the storm of postpartum, Luna was more than a dog, she was my anchor. When my world felt heavy and uncertain, she stood guard beside me with silent loyalty and fierce love.

She reminded me, day after day, that pets don’t just rely on us, we rely on them, too. Her presence gave me purpose, her protection gave me peace, and her love gave me the strength to keep going. Luna didn’t just change my life. She gave it direction. She is the soul of this business. The reason it exists.

Because she protected me.

From Combat Medic to Pet Protector

As a U.S. Army Combat Medic, my mission was to protect lives, and that purpose didn’t stop when I came home. After Luna was bitten at a dog daycare, I realized pets need more than supervision, they need protection. I took the skills I learned in uniform and founded Luna’s Pet Care & Sitting. Because while they play, you can trust that we protect.
